St Agnes Coast, Cornwall, A4 Framed Original
Of all the breath-taking views Cornwall has to offer, this one stood out to me. Perched dramatically above the sea, the Wheal Coates Tin Mine is one of Cornwall’s most iconic landmarks—a National Trust site that quietly tells the story of the region’s rich mining past.
There’s a raw, wild beauty to this spot. The tin mine itself feels both rooted and weathered, shaped by time and the elements, while the surrounding cliffs open out into sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. It’s a place full of atmosphere and I knew I had to try capturing that feeling on paper.
I haven’t yet visited Wheal Coates in person, but it’s now firmly on my list! Are there any places like that for you? Places that stir your imagination long before you’ve stood there?
