Escape Into Landscapes Watercolour Workshop

Saturday 20 September, 3-5pm

The Waverley, Chippenham

Join me for a relaxed, creative afternoon of painting your dream landscape!

Whether it’s rolling hills sprinkled with wildflowers, a serene lakeside sunset, a whimsical forest path, or even a view from your favourite holiday spot — the choice is yours.

I’ll take you through the basic techniques of watercolour painting, then guide you through each stage, from sketching and colour mixing to adding those magical finishing touches that bring your scene to life. You’ll head home with your own painting, plus a booklet of tips and inspiration to keep you painting.

All materials (and plenty of encouragement) are provided and all levels are welcome, whether you’re an art enthusiast or have never picked up a paintbrush before. No experience needed, just a love of colour and creativity!

The only thing you’ll need to bring is the picture you’d like to paint! This can be a printed image or a photo on your phone (or you can paint from your imagination if you’re feeling brave!).

We’ll have exclusive use of Grounded’s cosy upper floor, with a complimentary drink included in your ticket.

Christmas Card Design Watercolour Workshop

Saturday 8 November, 3-5pm

The Waverley, Chippenham

Join me for a relaxed, creative afternoon of painting your very own Christmas card design, with the option to have it turned into printed cards afterwards!

In this workshop, you’ll learn the techniques of watercolour painting while creating your own Christmas card design. You’ll receive a printed copy of my Introduction to Watercolour booklet, full of tips and guidance to help you continue your painting after the workshop.

You can choose any subject you like for your design, and I’ll be there to guide you in creating your own version. Some ideas could be a robin, wreath, tree, stockings, winter cottage, baubles, reindeer, a festive front door… the possibilities are endless! What do you love seeing on a Christmas card?

All materials and equipment will be provided. We’ll have exclusive use of Grounded’s upper floor and a complimentary drink is included with your ticket too. All are welcome, whether you’re an art enthusiast or have never picked up a paintbrush before!
