Private Watercolour Lessons

Mindful creativity, personalised guidance, and time just for you

A bespoke watercolour experience just for you

Enjoy a relaxed, one-to-one watercolour experience tailored to you — an opportunity to slow down, find calm, and reconnect with your creativity.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, each 1:1 session meets you exactly where you are, offering gentle guidance and encouragement every step of the way.

Every lesson is tailored to your goals — from building confidence with brush control and colour mixing to exploring botanicals, landscapes, or loose expressive pieces. You can keep it as a dedicated treat for yourself, or turn it into a 1:2 session and bring along a friend, partner, or family member.

With focused attention, a soothing pace, and a joy-filled creative space, these sessions give you the time and freedom to explore and unwind. You’ll leave feeling inspired, supported, and more confident in your creative practice — ready to discover the simple joy of watercolour painting.

This isn’t a pre-recorded class or a group where you might get lost in the mix. This is your time, focused entirely on your creative journey.

In a private 1:1 session, you’ll receive personalised guidance from start to finish. Every question is welcomed, and every challenge is met with gentle, helpful support.

Whether you're picking up watercolours for the first time, want to focus on a particular skill, or just enjoy some creative time out, a 1:1 session gives you that opportunity. We’ll work at your pace, so you feel encouraged and inspired throughout.

Each session is shaped around your interests and you get to choose what you paint. Before your first session, I’ll ask if there are any themes or subjects you’d love to paint, and I’ll prepare accordingly. If you have something in mind, you’re welcome to bring a picture with you to use as a reference.

Optional add-on: Watercolour Essentials Kit

If you’d like to continue painting after your session but save yourself the time and effort working out what you need and ordering supplies, I’ve curated my own set of all the essentials you need. My intention in offering this is to remove the barriers that might hold you back and make it as easy as possible to get going with this wonderful hobby.

Each set includes:

  • 1 x Daler Rowney Aquafine watercolour half pan paint travel set

  • 10 x sheets 5" x 7" 300gsm white cotton watercolour paper

  • 1 x uni-ball 0.1mm PIN black fine line pen

  • 1 x small round paintbrush for finer details
