Taste of Summer: Painting Fruits in Watercolour, 15 Aug 2026

£35.00

Saturday 15 August 2026, 2-4pm | The Waverley, Chippenham SN15 3HG

Create a bright, uplifting piece of artwork perfect for your kitchen in this relaxed and joyful summer watercolour workshop!

Inspired by the vibrant colours and textures of seasonal fruits, you’ll paint a fresh, cheerful composition that captures the feeling of summer on paper.

You’ll learn approachable watercolour techniques for painting juicy berries, citrus, stone fruits and more, with guidance on colour mixing, light and shadow to help your artwork feel lively and full of colour. Actual pieces of fruit and reference images will be on the table for inspiration, and you can choose to paint a single fruit, a small arrangement, or experiment with a few different subjects.

This session is beginner-friendly and relaxed, with a focus on creativity, enjoyment and experimentation rather than technical perfection. I’ll be there to offer gentle guidance throughout as you develop your painting in your own style.

You’ll leave with your finished painting, new skills and techniques, plus an Introduction to Watercolour booklet to inspire you to keep painting at home.

We’ll have exclusive use of The Waverley’s spacious upstairs room, and your ticket includes a complimentary drink of your choice. All materials are provided, and no prior experience is needed — just curiosity, a love of colour, and a willingness to have fun with paint!
