What Can I Commission?

Whether you're looking for a unique gift, a special keepsake, or something meaningful to hang in your home, commissioning a custom piece of artwork is a beautiful way to bring your ideas to life. A bespoke watercolour illustration is personal, thoughtful, and full of character—something that can be treasured for years to come.

Each commission is completely tailored to you, whether it's:

  • A beloved home or building

  • A favourite travel memory or landscape

  • A cherished pet

  • A wedding or anniversary gift

  • A new home gift

  • Baby gifts and nursery art

  • Map-style illustrations

Or something entirely different—if you have something in mind, I’d love to hear your ideas. Every piece starts with your story, and together we can create something beautifully personal and uniquely special to you.

How It Works

  1. Get In Touch

    Start by sending me an email or a message here with your idea, including what you'd like illustrated, any deadlines, a reference photo, and the size you have in mind.

  2. Let’s Chat

    I’ll get back to you with pricing, timeframes, and any questions to clarify the details. I’ll also send you an invoice for a 50% deposit in advance of starting work.

  3. Creating Your Artwork

    Once confirmed, I’ll begin your piece. You’ll get a sketch or preview to approve before painting begins, and I’ll keep you up to date on progress. Once it’s finished I’ll send you a photo of the completed painting for you to check you’re happy with it and ask for any final tweaks you’d like made.

  4. Arranging Handover

    When your piece is complete, I’ll send you an invoice for the remaining 50%. It will then be carefully packaged and posted to you, or available for local collection. Framing can also be arranged on request.

Pricing & Sizes

Prices vary depending on size and complexity, but here’s a general guide:

  • A5 (small): £55

  • A4 (medium): £95

  • A3 (large): £175

  • A2 (extra large): £295

Custom sizes and multiple illustrations (e.g. a set or series) are also available. Let me know what you're after, and I’ll be happy to work out a cost for you.

Timings

It really depends on the size and level of detail. An A5 size painting might take around 3-5 hours, whereas a complex A4 painting could take nearer 10 hours. A3 paintings are likely to take much longer as they are double the size of A4!

If you are ordering a commission for a particular occasion, I would advise getting in touch with me to order at least 4 weeks before you need to receive it. This allows me time to work on your commission and get it to you in good time.

If you need your piece sooner than this, just ask—I’ll always try to accommodate and work to a shorter timeframe where possible!

Gift-Ready

Your artwork will arrive beautifully wrapped and ready to frame or gift. I can also include a handwritten note if it’s being sent directly to someone special.
