What Can I Illustrate?

Weddings are full of meaningful moments, beautiful details, and once-in-a-lifetime memories. A bespoke wedding illustration is a unique and heartfelt way to preserve those moments, whether you’re celebrating your own day, giving a thoughtful gift, or adding something personal to your wedding styling or stationery.

Each illustration is lovingly hand-drawn and tailored to your vision, whether it’s a venue portrait, a bouquet study, custom signage, or something completely unique to you.

Wedding illustrations can take many forms. Here are just a few ideas to inspire you:

  • Venue portraits – your ceremony or reception space, drawn in detail as a lasting keepsake

  • Bridal bouquets & florals – preserve your flowers in delicate watercolour or pencil

  • Engagement or save-the-date artwork – a charming alternative to photos

  • Custom wedding stationery – invitations, orders of service, menus, seating plans, place cards, thank you cards

  • Thank-you cards – personalised illustrations to show your gratitude post-wedding

  • Live sketching (by arrangement) – on-the-day guest portraits or venue sketches for something extra special

  • Anniversary gifts – commissions to mark a 1st, 5th, or milestone anniversary

How It Works

  1. Enquire

    Get in touch here with your ideas, timeline, and any photos or inspiration you'd like me to see.

  2. Details & Quote

    I’ll guide you through the options, provide a tailored quote, and confirm sizing, framing (if needed), and delivery info. I’ll also provide an invoice for a 50% deposit in advance of starting work.

  3. Creating Your Artwork

    Once confirmed, I’ll begin your artwork. Depending on the piece, I may send a rough sketch or concept for your input before painting. Once it’s finished I’ll send you a photo of the completed illustration for you to check you’re happy with it and ask for any final tweaks you’d like made.

  4. Arranging Handover

    When your artwork is complete, I’ll send you an invoice for the remaining 50%. It will then be carefully packaged and posted to you, or directly to the recipient. Gift-wrapping and framing are available on request.

Pricing & Sizes

Because every wedding commission is unique, pricing depends on the type and scale of artwork. Here's a rough guide:

  • Venue/bouquet portraits
    – A5: from £55
    – A4: from £95
    – A3: from £175

  • Custom stationery illustrations (individual elements): from £25 per illustration depending on size and complexity

  • Full stationery design packages: priced individually—please enquire

Timings

I would advise getting in touch with me to order wedding illustrations at least 4 weeks before you need to receive it. This allows me time to work on your commission and get it to you in good time. If you need your piece sooner than this, just ask—I’ll always try to accommodate and work to a shorter timeframe where possible!

Gift-Ready

Each wedding illustration is produced with care, meaning, and a personal touch you won’t find anywhere else. Your artwork will arrive beautifully wrapped and ready to frame or gift. I can also include a handwritten note if it’s being sent directly to someone special.
