Bespoke Pet Portraits

There’s something incredibly special about our pets—their quirks, their expressions, the quiet comfort they bring. A custom pet portrait is a heartfelt way to honour your furry (or feathered/scaly!) friend, celebrate the bond you share, or create a one-of-a-kind gift for someone who adores their animal just as much as you do.

Each portrait is lovingly hand-drawn using high-quality coloured pencils, capturing fine details, soft textures, and the unique personality of your pet in a timeless and expressive piece of art.

Each pet portrait is:

  • Drawn by hand using artist-grade coloured pencils on premium, acid-free paper

  • Based on clear reference photos you provide

  • Tailored to reflect your pet’s individual personality and charm

  • Delivered unframed (framing can be arranged upon request)

Whether it’s a loyal dog, curious cat, horse, rabbit, or something more exotic, I welcome all animals and love hearing the stories behind them.

How It Works

  1. Get In Touch

    Use the contact form or email me with your ideas. Let me know the number of pets, size you have in mind, and any particular features you'd like captured. I’ll also need a good quality reference photo, ideally taken in natural light so I can capture the best likeness.

  2. Confirming Details

    I’ll get back to you with pricing, timeframes, and any questions to clarify the details. I’ll also send you an invoice for a 50% deposit in advance of starting work.

  3. Creating Your Artwork

    I’ll begin your portrait with care and precision, often spending many hours layering colour and detail to bring your pet to life on the page. Once it’s finished I’ll send you a photo of the completed piece for you to check you’re happy with it and ask for any final tweaks you’d like made.

  4. Arranging Handover

    When your piece is complete, I’ll send you an invoice for the remaining 50%. It will then be carefully packaged and posted to you, or available for local collection. Framing can also be arranged on request.

Pricing & Sizes

Here’s a general guide to sizing and prices for portraits of a single or multiple pets with a plain white background:

  • A5 (small): £55

  • A4 (medium): £95

  • A3 (large): £175

Portraits with backgrounds can be quoted based on complexity. Custom sizes are also available—just let me know what you have in mind!

Timings

Each portrait is made to order, and the usual turnaround is 2 to 4 weeks, depending on my current workload. If you need your portrait for a specific date (like a birthday or memorial), please let me know early—I’ll always do my best to accommodate.

Gift-Ready

Pet portraits make incredibly meaningful gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, or to remember a beloved pet. They offer comfort, joy, and a lasting tribute to a much-loved companion.

Your artwork will arrive beautifully wrapped and ready to frame or gift. I can also include a handwritten note if it’s being sent directly to someone special.
