Beautiful Buildings Watercolour Workshop

Join me for a relaxed, creative afternoon of painting your favourite building — whether it’s a cosy cottage, a grand old townhouse, a colourful street scene, or an iconic landmark that inspires you.

I’ll guide you through the essentials of painting buildings in watercolour — from sketching simple architectural shapes and mixing colours for brick, stone and sky, to adding light, shadow, and those small details that bring your scene to life.

You’ll leave with your own finished painting and a handy booklet of tips and techniques to help you keep practising at home.

All materials (and plenty of encouragement!) are provided, and everyone is welcome — whether you’ve never painted before or you’re looking to refine your watercolour skills. No experience needed, just curiosity and creativity!

Please bring a photo of the building you’d like to paint — printed or on your phone. It could be your home, a favourite café, a travel memory, or a street corner that catches your eye.

We’ll have exclusive use of The Waverley’s cosy upstairs snug room, and your ticket includes a complimentary drink.
