Escape Into Landscapes Watercolour Workshop

Saturday 20 September, 3-5pm

Join me for a relaxed, creative afternoon of painting your dream landscape!

Whether it’s rolling hills sprinkled with wildflowers, a serene lakeside sunset, a whimsical forest path, or even a view from your favourite holiday spot — the choice is yours.

I’ll take you through the basic techniques of watercolour painting, then guide you through each stage, from sketching and colour mixing to adding those magical finishing touches that bring your scene to life. You’ll head home with your own painting, plus a booklet of tips and inspiration to keep you painting.

All materials (and plenty of encouragement) are provided and all levels are welcome, whether you’re an art enthusiast or have never picked up a paintbrush before. No experience needed, just a love of colour and creativity!

The only thing you’ll need to bring is the picture you’d like to paint! This can be a printed image or a photo on your phone (or you can paint from your imagination if you’re feeling brave!).

We’ll have exclusive use of Grounded’s cosy upper floor, with a complimentary drink included in your ticket.

Painting Places Watercolour Workshop

Join me for a relaxed, creative afternoon of painting your happy place!

In this workshop, we’ll explore painting all sorts of buildings and everyday places that hold special memories or simply make you smile.

What you paint is completely up to you. You might choose to recreate your own home, a favourite place you’ve visited, or somewhere that holds a special memory. Or perhaps a colourful shopfront, your go-to local café, a street scene, a charming country cottage… anywhere that makes your heart happy!

I’ll take you through the basic techniques of watercolour painting, then guide you step by step, from sketching out your ideas to adding those little details that make your artwork truly yours. You’ll head home with your own painting, plus a booklet of tips and inspiration to keep you painting.
